Gus' Electricity Experiment

So this evening, while we had guests over for our new home community, Gus decided to start experimenting with the electricity. Specifically, he got my wedding ring off the desk (I was doing dishes) and put it between the baby monitor power adapter and the wall socket. One blinding flash of bluish light later we had all rushed over to him to see what had happened. This is what we found.
